    At the GS-07 level of this position, you will:

    • Perform varied routine program analysis functions;
    • Research and interpret legal and regulatory material for use by supervisor or co-workers;
    • Collect data from a variety of reference sources in office and prepare reports to present patterns and trends in program activities;
    • Assemble material for staff associated with briefings, conferences, and meetings.

    To qualify for the GS-07 level, you need to have completed one full academic year of graduate level education; or a bachelor’s degree with superior academic achievement (Superior Academic Achievement Definition).

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    Pathways Internship Program:
    This program is designed to provide students enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions, from high school to graduate level, with opportunities to work in agencies and explore Federal careers while still in school and while getting paid for the work performed. The position must be related to the student’s academic field of study or the student’s career interests.     Salary will be based on the grade level for which you are selected and the duty location of the position.

    This position is in the bargaining unit if appointment is more than 90 days.

    Position has portable work and selectee may be authorized to telework after meeting eligibility requirements if approved by the supervisor/manager.

    You will earn annual leave if your appointment is for 90 days or longer and sick leave regardless of appointment duration.
