Under the direction of the Associate Director of External Relations and Recruitment, the Recruitment Specialist is responsible 1) for supporting Summer Sessions’ efforts to identify, develop, maintain, and evaluate a network of national and international relationships with educational institutions, governments, and organizations that are interested in Summer Sessions’ academic offerings; 2) for assisting with the establishment of and implementing short- and long-term non-UC, summer-only student recruitment strategies; 3) for assisting affiliates and ensuring quality service delivery and successful long-term relations. The incumbent will aid in the development of a proposal annually for recruitment activities and travels, including budget, that reflects national and international trends and Summer Sessions’ priorities; 4) for representing Summer Sessions and the Associate Director at international and domestic events including affiliate visits, education fairs, and other student engagement events.
