Assist students with Educator Preparation program planning, registration, progress monitoring, and program completion audit/documentation for undergraduate, post-bacc and alternative pathway candidates. Provides assistance in the coordination of activities related to PK-12 school-based Field Experience placement activities; collects data on program participation and prepares appropriate summaries; establishes and maintains articulation between the community college and PK-12 educational institutions associated with the educator preparation programs; coordinates efforts with advisors and provides support for recruitment and retention, and provides academic advisement as appropriate for the educator preparation programs.
30% – Assists with planning, coordination and implementation of educator preparation programs including student advisement, financial assistance, internship, or other enrichment programs 20% – Provides information and technical assistance regarding program guidelines and applicable laws, policies, rules and regulations. Assists with implementing policies and procedures
15% – Coordinates and maintains database information and reporting systems
15% – Collects data on program participation and prepares program reports; plans and coordinates special events
10% – Works with faculty and program management to identify and implement retention strategies and student success opportunities
10% – Implements and coordinates campus based field experience placement for Pre-Service teachers; maintains and updates website; performs other related duties as assigned
Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in business administration, education or directly related field, and one year of experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs.
An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

2. Academic advisement experience
3. Experience working in an Educator Preparation program
4. Computer proficiency with programs such as MS office, databases
5. One year of experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs.
6. Computer proficiency with programs such as SIS, PeopleSoft, MS office, databases
Special Working Conditions
This is a One Year Only position (OYO)
Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D driver’s license is required if driving a college vehicle; must meet minimum standards regarding driving: http://www.maricopa.edu/legal/rmi/vehicle.htm#requirements
Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate’s own expense
Will be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations
May require numerous evenings or weekends
May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen
May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs
