Your position

The goal of the research project is to characterize the optical properties of nanoscale quantum materials and heterostructures using on-chip THz spectroscopy.

Your responsibility includes:

  • Fabricating metallic and dielectric nanostructures comprised of graphene, boron nitride and other nanoscale materials
  • Characterizing the nanostructures using on-chip THz spectroscopy
  • Analyzing the results using data analysis software

  • You are studying physics or a comparable subject and are currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master Programme
  • You should have taken coursework in solid-state physics, nanoscience, electrodynamics, quantum mechanics, informatics and mathematics
  • Research experience with optical spectroscopy, nanoscale materials and data analysis is required
