The PhD student intern will work on AI training acceleration on Stratix10 HBM based FPGA. This will include:
- Mapping of the application.
- Investigate innovative arithmetic precisions.
- Use of Quartus.
- Innovative use of HBM.
- Demonstration of the overall system design.
You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
The candidate must be pursuing a PhD’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 9 months experience in:
- Programming Stratix10 FPGAs using Quartus, and particularly using the in-package HBM.
- Developing Deep Neural Networks accelerator design on FPGAs.
- Programing languages such as Verilog/VHDL and basic software programming languages, scripting, etc.
- Publishing in high quality IEEE/ACM conferences related to FPGAs.
